I was born and raised in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. And now, after thirty years of working in schools in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, I am retired. I spend my days doing what I love: writing, reading, and enjoying time with friends and family. I also like to walk, try new restaurants, and play the piano. Publication of my first novel, Profound Secrets, is icing on the cake!
